3. Safety preparations: Disconnect the main circuit breaker on the grid side and use a multimeter to verify that the power is off.

Installation orientation: The CT features an arrow mark (e.g., P1→P2); this arrow must point in the direction of power flow from the grid to your home (the P1 side facing the grid, and the P2 side facing the load/inverter). If installed in reverse, the system will mistake power consumption for power export, preventing the inverter from generating electricity.
3. Safety precautions: Before installing the CT, ensure that the CT's secondary side (the end connecting to the meter) is properly connected. The secondary side must never be left open-circuited, as this can generate lethal high voltage.
